LINEAR MOTION SOLUTIONS
Linear stages are mechanical or electromechanical devices designed to provide controlled and precise linear motion in one dimension along a straight line. They are commonly used in applications requiring accurate positioning, including semiconductor manufacturing, laser cutting and engraving, scientific research, and quality control processes. They are also used in systems that require automated sample handling and precise positioning, such as in microscopy and medical devices.
Velmex manufactures both manually-operated and motor-driven stages with standard travel distances from 1.5" (3.81 cm) to 228" (5.8 m) and can carry payloads up to 300 lbs. (136 kg). Manual and motor-driven stages can also be combined into multi-axis configurations.

BiSlide Lead Screw configurations have travel lengths from 5" (12.7 cm) to 80" (2 m) and handle loads up to 300 lbs. Special configurations including Tandem, Parallel-coupled and Belt-driven BiSlide assemblies can handle larger loads and can accommodate longer travel distances up to 228" (5.8 m). BiSlide stages are easy to convert from manual operation to motor-driven.

The Velmex XSlide Assembly is a compact positioning stage with travel distances to 30.5" (77.5 cm). This small motion device moves loads up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

The motor-driven BiSlide’s modular design makes it highly configurable for a multitude of different motion-control applications. It’s unique T-slot framing allows for easy multi-axis, high rigidity configurations that can be reconfigured as the application requires. Travel distances up to 228” (5.8 m) and a load capacity of 300 lbs (136 kg). Motor-driven Tandem, Parallel-coupled and Belt-driven BiSlide assemblies increase application capabilities.
