Motion Solutions
Velmex offers a wide variety of linear and rotary motion stages; as well as the motors, controls and readouts to operate and monitor the devices for a complete motion solution. For over 50 years Velmex has been producing manual and motor-driven stages that solve a wide range of specialized applications and requirements. Velmex Application and Design Engineers will also work customers to assist in designing a custom solution/configuration that address a customer’s unique requirements.

Multi-Axis and Custom Solutions
Linear and Rotary stages can be combined to create a multitude of configurations, essentially creating a quasi-custom solution from standard product offerings. All of Velmex Products are designed and built in the US. Domestic production ensures consistent quality and rapid modification/customization for an optimized application solution.
Velmex defines the linear axis coordinates (X, Y, Z) per Machine Tool Coordinate Standards, where 'X' is the bottom horizontal axis, 'Y' crosses the 'X' at 90 degrees and is also in the horizontal plane, and the 'Z' axis runs vertically (perpendicular) to the 'X' or 'Y' axis. Rotary motion (Theta) can be horizontal, vertical or mounted inverted.
